Cancellations & Refunds

Free trial

Every plan includes a 14-day free trial. We don't collect a card to start the trial, and your account is never charged unless you choose to subscribe. If you don't subscribe before the trial ends, the account is paused and no charge is made.

Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing inside StableSync, or by emailing contact@equinepilot.com. Cancellation stops future renewals — your barn keeps full access through the end of the period you've already paid for, and is not charged again.

Refunds

EquinePilot subscriptions are billed in advance and are non-refundable for the current billing period (monthly or annual). We don't prorate partial months or partial years on cancellation.

If you believe you were charged in error — for example, a duplicate charge, a charge after a confirmed cancellation, or a billing bug on our end — email contact@equinepilot.com within 30 days and we'll make it right.

Annual plans

Annual plans are paid up front at a discount. They follow the same rules: cancel any time to stop future renewals, with no refund for the remaining months of the current term.

Downgrades and plan changes

Switching to a lower tier takes effect at your next renewal — you keep the features you paid for through the end of the current period. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated against the remainder of the period.

Data after cancellation

After cancellation, your data remains available in read-only form for 30 days so you can export records. After that window, the barn's data is scheduled for deletion. Contact us before the 30 days are up if you need an extension or a full export.
